Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd was fined £10,000 on Friday 12 March after a steel plate fell during a lifting operation on 5 February 2009 and caused severe injury to a contractor’s hand.
The contractor, employed by Robert Summers Transport Ltd of Buckhaven was involved in an accident during a steel plate lifting operation.
